I installed the AirDog system myself on a motorhome with 2000 American Eagle 8.3 Cummins engine. I have noticed a smoother engine idle, improvement in fuel mileage, reduced engine start time, downshift further up on hills than before, and top the hill at higher speeds. I have a tendency to stop at the same fuel stops when repeating our trips from the previous year. I have completed two different trips, both in excess of 1,200 miles. At each stop, I noticed that it was taking fewer gallons to fill. When I returned home, I compared my receipts to the previous year and confirmed this to be correct. Also, crank time when starting the engine has reduced, so it takes less time for the engine to start. Another improvement is hill climbing – on long grades, I have noticed I get further up before the automatic transmission is downshifting to a lower gear and I top the hill at higher speeds. I think it is also important to note that I would not have purchased this system had it not been for the information and assistance provided by your tech support.
