Quality Product and Knowledgeable Staff

The City of Huntington Beach Fire Department has installed six AirDog units onto our Pierce Arrow XT engines with Cat C13 power plants. We were having problems with fuel injectors failing due the amount of heat and significant fuel aeration in the fuel delivery system. Much of the problem was determined to be caused due to the distance between the fuel tank and the transfer pump. We reached out to PureFlow Technologies to see if they had a transfer pump that could be incorporated into the existing system near the fuel tank. They advised me about their AirDog system designed for our exact problem. Since we have installed the AirDog systems, we have had no signs of injector seal issues and no injector failures. In addition to having a quality product, the staff at PureFlow Technologies have been very supportive and are very knowledgeable about today's fuel delivery systems and their inherent problems with aeration. Thanks to PureFlow Technologies and the AirDog, we feel that we have taken a step in the right direction to solve what has been an industry wide problem that is costing fleets a lot of money and making OEMs null about the issues. Many Improvements on a Motorhome

I installed the AirDog system myself on a motorhome. I have noticed a smoother engine idle, improvement in fuel mileage, reduced engine start time, downshift further up on hills than before, and top the hill at higher speeds. I have a tendency to stop at the same fuel stops when repeating our trips from the previous year. I have completed two different trips, both in excess of 1,200 miles. At each stop, I noticed that it was taking fewer gallons to fill. When I returned home, I compared my receipts to the previous year and confirmed this to be correct. Also, crank time when starting the engine has reduced, so it takes less time for the engine to start. Another improvement is hill climbing - on long grades, I have noticed I get further up before the automatic transmission is downshifting to a lower gear and I top the hill at higher speeds. I think it is also important to note that I would not have purchased this system had it not been for the information and assistance provided by your tech support. Mike G. Quality Second to None

Installed an AirDog on my 2006 Single Turbocharged ACERT this week. -10° to 30° above zero had absolutely no effect on my typically finicky engine. Unbelievable improvement in all around performance. While I fully suggest keeping up on all bypasses and filters in a stock system for peak performance, this system is a no brainer for reliability and consistent performance from your Caterpillar engine. Very Happy

Makes a Huge Difference Starting in All Conditions

The system makes a huge difference in starting the truck. It starts up instantly above freezing and still starts down to 20 degrees without the engine block heater or ether, which was not the case previously. I installed the AirDog myself and have noticed an improvement in throttle response and smoother engine idle. In general, I think the former military vehicle owner community could really benefit from your 24V product! I recommend the system to everyone I encounter with starting/fuel line issues. Best Form Ever

The AirDog with the Champ II provides the low-end torque that enabled me to properly re-ratio my rear-ends to leverage the engine's downspeeding capability, giving me almost one mile per gallon fuel efficiency gain. My truck originally came from the factory at 500hp/1650 torque. Now, with the AirDog and Champ II, I have more of each, even with the engine set at 425hp/1550 torque plus re-ratioing the rears to 2.47. More low-end power, increased productivity, more enjoyable to drive, and one mile per gallon fuel savings. The AirDog was the key to putting this truck in its best form ever!
